Kallos (“the App”) is operated by Agile AI Studios LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Kallos.

1. Scope

Kallos is intended for users outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. We do not target or knowingly collect data from individuals in these regions.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide:

We collect information you provide directly when using the App, including:

• Account information (name, email, sign-in credentials) 
• Profile data (date of birth, gender, height, weight, profile photo) 
• Nutrition data (food logs, calories, macronutrients, meal details, photos, audio notes) 
• Fitness data (exercise logs, duration, intensity, sets, reps, calories burned) 
• Sleep data (sleep duration, quality, notes) 
• Meditation data (sessions, duration, notes) 
• Water intake 
• Journal entries (text, voice recordings, photos) 
• Weight tracking and progress photos 
• Goals and saved templates 

Automatically Collected Information:

• Timezone and local date associated with entries 
• Device advertising identifier (used for advertising, subject to your consent) 
• Subscription and purchase status 

Health Data:

With your permission, we may access health data from Apple HealthKit, including sleep and weight data. This data is read-only.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Provide and maintain the App’s functionality 
• Track your health and wellness progress 
• Generate personalized insights and summaries 
• Customize recommendations and goals 
• Display advertisements (for non-Premium users) 
• Manage subscriptions and purchases 
• Enable optional iCloud backups 

4. AI-Generated Insights

Kallos uses AI services provided by Anthropic to generate wellness insights.

• Only aggregated health metrics (e.g., totals, averages) are sent 
• No raw photos, audio, or journal text are shared 
• No direct identifiers (such as name or email) are included 
• Data is processed via secure backend infrastructure 

AI-generated insights are returned to your device and stored locally.

5. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display ads.

• Ads may use your device’s advertising identifier 
• Tracking is only enabled if you grant permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework 
• You can opt out of tracking at any time in your device settings 

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We only share data with service providers necessary to operate the App:

• Authentication services (account management) 
• Cloud infrastructure providers 
• AI processing services (as described above) 
• Advertising partners (for ad delivery only) 

We do not share your health data with advertisers.

7. Apple Health Data

Data obtained from Apple HealthKit:

• Is used solely to provide health and fitness features 
• Is not used for advertising or marketing 
• Is not sold or shared with third parties

8. Data Storage & Retention

• Your data is primarily stored on your device 
• Optional backups may be stored in your personal iCloud account 
• We do not maintain centralized servers containing your health logs 

Data is retained until you delete it or delete your account.

When you delete your account:

• All associated data is permanently removed 
• iCloud backups are deleted according to retention limits

9. Your Choices & Controls

You can:

• Edit or delete your data at any time within the App 
• Delete your account and all associated data 
• Control HealthKit permissions through iOS settings 
• Opt in or out of ad tracking 
• Manage notification preferences

10. Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS) 
• Device-level encryption for stored data 
• Secure authentication using industry-standard protocols

11. Children's Privacy

Kallos is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

12. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the CCPA, including the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we collect about you 
• Request deletion of your personal information 
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information 
• Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights 

We do not sell your personal information.

If you choose to allow tracking for advertising purposes, services such as Google AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier to provide ads.
